Dahica is an atelier that has grown up in the bottom of the Mt.Ontake in Kiso, Nagano Prefecture.

No matter how big or small the objects of the projects, we care the dent and protrusions by
0.1mm. Therefore, our adjustments have to be smaller than 0.01mm.
The small details like it won’t see all the time and most people won’t care or notice.
However, the details like that will make the object as master piece or just a product.
We are always troubled by the details smaller than 0.01mm and we will keep being troubled by it.
We dedicated to create all or our works with our heart and soul.

Meeting the materials “precious metals”,
Meeting the new designs,
Meeting a new customer,
All meetings are very important and its matters so much for us.
We face wax curving everyday with all thoughts above!

Catchphrase

There is a word “Odayaka” in Japanese.
“Odayaka” means “kind, gentle, thoughtful, quiet and peaceful state of mind, … etc.”
The brand name “Dahica” was named after this word “Odayaka” because the designer
wants people to feel “Odayaka feel” from the products and the brand.
The moon was designed in the middle of the logo.

“Dahica’s Work”

Dahica’s specialities are concrete objects such as the animals and the plants.
In big bundle, living things are Dahica’s specialities after all.
I am always pursuing the answers for these questions that “How can I create soft and
natural vitality by using a hard materials like precious metals?” and “How can I represent
the liveliness and aspects of the object in the project?”

Works

“The soul dwells in a thing”
“The soul dwells in a thing”. This is one of Japanese thoughts.
Tsukumogami (artifact spirit) stays in scrupulous and elaborate works and things that
people chose with great meticulous care.
Our works are our stories that composed by wax curving.
